Car Park Resurfacing Appeal MVH Needs Your Help! Updated: 6th March
Mayford Village Hall is fundraising to resurface the remaining part of the car park which was heavily pot-holed and not wheelchair- friendly but now allows easier & safer access to events at MVH and the Bowls Club. With generous suport from Councillors Ayesha Azad & Will Forster at Woking Borough & Surrey County Councils through the Members’ Community Allocation Fund ( @JCWoking ), Mayford Hall Bowls Club & WH Smith, we have raised £20,150. Thank You to others who have so generously donated in response to the launch of our appeal. We still need to raise a further a further £6,850 to replenish the reserves used to allow the works to be completed within the current financial year in order to make use of a maximum £15,000 Matching Grant offer from Woking Borough Council. Please help us in raising the remaining funds by making a donation to our account Lloyds Bank PLC 30-99-80 00239112 Alternatively, If you have a fundraising idea that you would like to discuss, please contact us at carpark@mayfordvillagehall.org.uk

Mayford Village Hall
Mayford Village Hall is managed by a Trustee Group of unpaid volunteers and is situated between the Surrey towns of Guildford and Woking. The hall is available for public hire at times when it is not being used by local clubs, societies and organisations.
MVH is temporarily closed and not taking any bookings until further notice. This position is being kept under review as government guidelines on social distancing, combinations of people allowed at indoor gatherings & cleaning procedures for community buildings are updated with particular consideration for the safety of hirers & the MVH team.
