MVH has a remotely monitored security system which must be disarmed when you enter the building using the tag on the key ring. The black tag on the keyring must be held against the black ring on the Alertgen panel on the right hand side of the entrance lobby. This must be done within 30 seconds of opening the front door. Confirm that the unlocked padlock symbol is lit to indicate deactivation The alarm will reactivate automatically at the end of your hire period so please ensure you vacate the building on time. All system events are reported to the monitoring centre and logged. MVH is also protected by a smoke & fire detection system and external CCTV recording operating 24 hours a day.

Mayford Village Hall
4th Sept: There are roadworks in Saunders Lane until mid-October which may affect access to MVH. Currently, during working hours, Saunders Lane is closed for through traffic at the roadworks site but MVH can still be reached. Outside of hours there are two-way traffic lights which do allow traffic along the length of Saunders Lane. These arrangements may change as the works progress along the length of Saunders Lane from Smarts Heath Road towards Blackhorse Road. Mayford Village Hall is managed by a Trustee Group of unpaid volunteers and is situated between the Surrey towns of Guildford and Woking. The hall is available for public hire at times when it is not being used by local clubs, societies and organisations.
